The 2010 Walk will be a Family Picnic Event.

After you have walked one of the trails, you can help your self to free hamburgers and hotdogs. Condiments, paper goods, and utensils are provided. Each family or group will need to bring their own side dishes, chips and sodas. We will provide some tables, but plan on bringing a blanket to sit on just in case.  There will be plenty of activities for folks to enjoy, plus the great resources of Tribble Mill Park.

Ozora Lake

As we walk, we will be using the paved trail that winds around Ozora Lake. This 3 mile trail passes through many picturesque areas of the park. At water stations around the lake, volunteers will hand out cold bottled water. Also, there are many places to stop and rest and take in the scenery.

After the Walk, we will be giving out prizes to participants. The Walk is officially over at 3:30, but feel free to continue to enjoy Tribble Mill Park. There are single track trails that lead to an Old Mill, and to another lake. There are docks for fishing, and a boat ramp if you want to bring your own non-motorized boat.
