Last year at the NAMI Georgia 2009 Walk for the Mind of America, we had a terrific time. The Metro Walk in Lawrenceville saw over 800 Walkers come to Tribble Mill Park and have a NAMI Family Picnic. The sun was hot, but the fellowship was warm and inviting.  Some of the Metro Walk Organizers Also, the Bridging the Gap NAMI Fun Day in Waycross had over 400 folks from down in south Georgia. The event was the talk of the town. All seven NAMI affiliates from south Georgia made an appearance. The fun and fellowship was equally pleasant for these folks.
