NAMI Georgia asks you to join us to be a part
of the solution to a serious public health problem that is costing
employers tens of billions of dollars annually in lost employee
productivity and health care expenses. The National Alliance on
Mental Illness, NAMI, is the nation’s leading advocate for the
millions of Americans suffering from mental illness. The state
organization, NAMI Georgia, provides support, education, advocacy,
and research programs for people across Georgia living with mental
illness. These programs, in conjunction with proper therapy and
treatment, help keep Georgians on the job and out of hospitals and
jails. Your participation in the WALK will help fund these programs.
We are requesting your support in our annual NAMI Walk to be held on
Saturday, September 18, 2010 in Lawrenceville, Ga. For those
participants in southern Georgia, the Bridging the Gap NAMI Fun Day will be
held in Waycross Georgia that will coincide with the WALK.
NAMI Georgia is seeking
sponsorships for the 6th Annual NAMI Georgia Walk. As a Walk
Sponsor, your company will receive extensive visibility via print
advertising, press releases, website links, banners, signage, direct
mail, a company information booth at the event and much more,
depending on your level of support.
The proceeds from the Walk will be used to:
